He is survived by: his wife Nancy Millspaugh; his children, Tammy Madden-Lueders (Jon) of North Vernon, Robin Spicer (Jeff) of Commiskey, Melisa "Missi" Millspaugh-Maschino (John) of North Vernon, Ervin Edward "Eddie" Madden of Elizabethtown and Michael Madden (Katie) of Vernon; his siblings, Ernie Smith of Columbus, Bobby Smith (Becky) of Seymour, Carolyn Harter of Seymour, Brenda Marcott of Seymour and Kathy Gregory (Kenny) of North Vernon; and his grandchildren, Emily, John, Klayton, Gabe, Tim, Sarah, Ashley, Tyler, Averie, Malerie, Laremie, Delaynie, Kamberie, Braxley, Eayon, Sydney, Xaiver, Zander, Wyatt, Wrenley and Onyxia.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home (420 S State St, North Vernon, IN 47265). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made in honor of Gene through the funeral home to Boy Scout's Units, 532, 541, and 514.
