He is survived by: his wife Rose Smoot of North Vernon; his daughters, Kathleen Mannell (Gregg) of Danville, Suzanne Smoot-Randle of Columbus and Catherine Pratt (Jeff) of Tyler, Texas; and his grandchildren, Amanda Foxworthy (Steven) of Indianapolis, Grace Mannell of Danville, Thomas Mannell of Seattle, Angelica Alese Rogers of Columbus, Julia-Claire Randle of Columbus, Hallie Rose Randle of Columbus, Sarah Rose Pratt of Tyler, Texas. and Rebekka Joy Pratt of Tyler, Texas..
Burial will follow in the Centerville Baptist Church Cemetery with military graveside rites by members of Matt Hester Post #2021 V.F.W. Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Centerville Baptist Church.
