He is survived by: his children, Jerry Lucas (Karen) of North Vernon, Beverly Bird (Jim) of North Vernon and Donna Bowling (Ronald) of North Vernon; and his sisters, Louise McNeal of North Vernon, Dorothy Stewart of North Vernon and Edith Mae Minks of Louisville, KY. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.
