He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Harper and Mary Louise Compton Harper; and his sister-in-law Jeanette Harper. He is survived by: his children, Tylor Harper of Elizabethtown, Karlee Harper of Elizabethtown, Owen Harper of Mt. Vernon, Talonna Hart of North Vernon, Natasha Hart of North Vernon, Kailey Hart of North Vernon and Makenzie Hart of North Vernon; and his siblings, Bill Harper (Becky) of Columbus, Joyce Stroup (Carroll "Cookie") of Proctor, OK, Danny Harper (Bonita) of Columbus and Rick Harper (Liz) of Columbus. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to the Covid-19 restrictions a private funeral service will be held.
Memorial contributions may be donated to Norman Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses.
