Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Donald Rooks Jr. of North Vernon, Indiana, born in Columbus, Indiana, who passed away at the age of 48, on May 11, 2021. He was predeceased by: his grandmothers, Opal and Ernestine Axsom; and his nephew Brandon Schrader. He is survived by: his parents, Donald Rooks Sr. of Elizabethtown and Opal M. Axsom Bebout; his stepfather Jerry Bebout of North Vernon; his children, Michael Rooks of Seymour, Angelina Rooks of Columbus, Andrea Rooks of Columbus and Jacob Rooks of Columbus; and his siblings, Kim Schrader (Jackie Sandlin) of North Vernon, Kelley Bebout (Eric) of North Vernon and Shawn Bebout of Longmont, Colorado. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
We do ask visitors to follow social distancing guidelines inside the funeral home and masks are required.
Memorial contributions may be given in lieu of flowers through the funeral home to the Alcoholics Anonymous care of Southeastern Indiana Intergroup.
