He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde William and Rose May Herr; his wife Betty Lou Herr; and his siblings, Glenn Herr, Elmo Herr, Chalmer Herr, Carl Herr, Lloyd Herr, Walter Herr, Audra Couchman and Mary Leeds.
He is survived by: his children, Ray Allan Herr (Elaine) of Batesville, Roy Wayne Herr (Kim) of North Vernon and Donna Lou Bowling (Fred) of Greenwood; his grandchildren, Natalie Coklow, Cory, Daniel Herr, Lindsey Bush and Donald Hearne; and his great grandchildren, Emmett Herr, Beckham and Blakely Bush.
