She was predeceased by: her father Forrest; her husband Ronald Burk; her brother Richard; and her nephew Steve Sedam. She is survived by: her son Jeff Burk of North Vernon; her sister Phyllis Sedam of North Vernon; her nephew Mike Sedam (Janice) of Avon; and her nieces, Jill Bell (Paul) of Louisville, Susan Jones (Dean) of North Vernon, Lisa Higgs (Billy) of North Vernon, Leann Terrell (Brian) of Fort Meyers and Lori Lacy (Shane) of New Albany.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the North Vernon Fire Department.
