It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clay Burton of North Vernon, Indiana, born in Franklin, Ohio, who passed away on April 4, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Burton Sr. and Ada Burton (Riley); and his brothers, Woodrow Burton Jr. and John Burton. He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, Marty A. Burton of North Vernon, Angela Burton Vance (James) of North Vernon and Rachel Burton of Carmel; his sister Shirley Branson (Vaughn) of Versailles; and his grandchildren, Derik Vance (Tasha) of North Vernon, Dustin Vance (Kennedy) of North Vernon, Kayla Burton of North Vernon, Kyle Burton of North Vernon, Caroline Burton of Petersburg, Joshua Brinkman of Carmel and Reagan Brinkman of Carmel.
Memorials may be made in honor of Clay through the funeral home to Our Hospice of Jennings County.
