She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy M. Bolden and Hazel Bolden (Good); her husband Robert Staten; her son Ronnie Staten; and her siblings, George, William, Ray, Don Bolden, Rosemary Bolden and Betty Washington.
She is survived by: her children, Kim Staten (Janey Beck) of North Vernon, Cindy Lee (Larry) of North Vernon and Jackie Hunter (Kenneth) of Columbus; her sister Dorothy Cooper of North Vernon; her grandchildren, Tamaris Anderson of Plainfield, Reggie Staten (Colby) of North Vernon, Adrian Hunter of Brussels, Aaron Hunter Sr. (Amanda) of Omaha, Nebraska and Dallas Washington of Omaha, Nebraska; and her great grandchildren, Da Shawn Hunter of Montana, Aaron Hunter Jr. of Bloomington, Brea Hunter of Fort Stewart, Georgia of North Vernon, Marlee Staten of North Vernon, Max Staten of North Vernon and Mylee Miller of Indianapolis. She is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
