Charmella Dawn Ping Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charmella Dawn Ping of North Vernon, Indiana, who passed away on February 19, 2025, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Wilma Lee (Gibson) and Clifford Lee; her husband Gary Ping; her children, Cory Ping (Amanda) of Muncie, Branson Ping (Lauren) of Seymour, Raedy Ping of Cincinnati and Kylaina Walker (Mike) of New Albany; her siblings, Greg Lee of Brownstown, Carnita McPherson (Jim) of Madison and Christy Hilderbrand of Columbus; and her grandchildren, Braylon of New Albany, Scarlett of New Albany, Coraline of New Albany, Wyatt of Muncie, Whitley of Muncie, Abram of Seymour and Norah of Seymour.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home (420 S State St, North Vernon, IN 47265). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at the Vernon Cemetery (315 S Pike St, Vernon, IN 47282).

Memorials may be made in honor of Charmella through the funeral home to a trust to be established for the grandchildren.
