He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Woolf and Virginia Matthews Woolf Cooper. He is survived by: his spouse Elizabeth H. Neary; his daughter Lori McClain of Seymour; his granddaughter Willa Grace McClain of North Vernon; his sister Edith Poer of Westport; his nephews, Albert Poer (Robert), Alfred Poer (Shannon) and Chuckie Poer; his great-nephews, Bobby Poer and Logan Poer; and his brother Robert McClain of Franklin.
