Cecilia Darlene Hicks Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cecilia Darlene Hicks of North Vernon, Indiana, who passed away on January 2, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Helen Pearman; and her cousin Dirk Byram. She is survived by: her husband Paul Hicks of North Vernon; and her cousins, Becky Worrell (Braden) of North Vernon, Hank Byram (Michele) of North Vernon, Leslie Lowman (Jerry) of North Vernon, Shirley Deckard of Indianapolis and Deanie Byram.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sawyer - Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service (115 S State St, North Vernon, IN 47265). A burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at the Vernon Cemetery (315 S Pike St, Vernon, IN 47282).
Memorial donations can be made through the funeral home to the Park Theater Civic Center, or the Graham Creek Elementary Scholarship Fund.
