It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cecil Mark Daugherty of North Vernon, Indiana, born in Shelbyville, Indiana, who passed away on October 14, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris Daugherty and Marjorie Daugherty (Henley); his brothers, Arthur, James, Frank, Tommy and Mike Daughtery; and his great grandchild Xavier Ross.
He is survived by: his wife Jennie Taggart; his daughters, Lisa James (Michael) of Camby and Heidi Spurlock of Indianapolis; and his grandchildren, Jordan Spurlock (Chasity) of North Vernon, Jazimar Bowers (Justin) of London, Samantha Caster of Camby and Randall James of Camby.
Memorials may be made in honor of Cecil through the funeral home to the American Cancer Society.
