It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Byron Estes Jr. of North Vernon, Indiana, born in Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away on January 28, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Byron Foster Estes Sr. and Edna Estes Dickson (Morrison); and his wife Ruth L. Engle. He is survived by: his sons, Mark Estes (Lana) of North Vernon, Chris Estes of Vernon and Tony Estes (Jamie) of Mt. Gilead; and his grandchildren, Andra Baker of Madison, Erin Estes of Scipio, Kristin Estes of Scipio, Alyssa Gill of Commiskey, Page Magner of North Manchester, Justin Estes (Chelsea) of Vernon, Cassidy Rodgers (Brandon) of Charlottesville and Luke Estes of Mt. Gilead. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made in Byron's honor through the funeral home to Schneck Hospice.
