She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry B. Fugate and Olive G. Fugate; her husband Kenneth Dewar, Sr.; and her siblings, Robin Fugate and Kim Suzanne Sanders.
She is survived by: her daughters, Amy Carpenter of Vancouver and Andrea Carpenter (Rusty Stovall) of Columbus, Indiana; her stepchildren, Kenneth "Dale" Dewar, Jr. (Maggie) of Nebraska and Becky Jones (Larry) of London, Kentucky; her brother Grey Fugate (Katie Engle) of Tennessee; her grandchildren, Mackinnen, Merrick and Raegan; her great grandchildren, Katalaya and Kamden; her stepgrandchildren, Chasity, Justin and Ashley; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Rhyder, Eli and Harper.
