He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Norman Day, Jack and Mary Helen Petry. He is survived by: his parents, David Scott and Pamela Sue Petry (Day); his wife Jessica Petry (Payne); his children, Jayden Thompson of Lewisville, Cora Petry of New Castle, Isabelle Petry of New Castle and Josie Petry of New Castle; his siblings, Jacob Petry (Katie) of North Vernon, Josh Petry (Deb) of Abingdon, Virginia, Heither Petry (Wayne) of Anderson and Rachel Petry (Joe Cruz) of McCordsville; and his grandmother Constance Day of North Vernon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made in Ben's honor through the funeral home to the Crosley Fish and Wildlife Area.
