He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Roberson and Elma Roberson (Pool); his wife Helen Crumpton; and his siblings, Robert, Wayne, Tom "Zeke" Roberson, Mary Proctor, Alice Coombs, Edna Roberson, Dorothy Bowerly and Luzerna Hutchins.

He is survived by: his children, Marsha Ritz of Seymour and Don Roberson of Florida; his stepdaughters, Cathy Storms of Greenwood, Theresa Chafin (Bart) of Noblesville and Cathy Mail (Jim) of South Carolina; his brother John Roberson (Jane) of Vernon; and his grandchildren, Taylor Ritz of Goshen, Evan Ritz of North Vernon, Alex Ritz of Seymour, Jacob Roberson of Seymour, Tammy Wynn of Indianapolis, Michelle Storms of Indianapolis, April Storms of Indianapolis, Casey Kavanaugh (Jason) of Noblesville and Colby Chafin of Fishers. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
