He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter, Sr. Hoover and Alice Hoover (Castator); and his siblings, Don Hoover and Martha Godby. He is survived by: his wife Linda Hoover; his daughters, Kathy Leatherman (Andy Wagoner) and Kristine Jett (David) of Clifton, VA; his grandchildren, Joseph, Jack and Juliette; his stepson Lance McDermott (Rachel) of Houston, TX; his stepgrandchildren, Tyler, Madison, Evan, Nathan and Eliza; and his stepsons, Mike Mattern (Elaine Wisniewski), Cris Mattern (Malinda), Kenny Mattern (Nicki) and Tim (Shioni). He is also survived by 4 nephews, 3 nieces and many great nephews and nieces.
