He was predeceased by: his parents, William Clarence and Elizabeth Glee Orpurt (Nicodemus); his former wife Mary Orpurt; and his brothers, William, Edward and Kenneth Orpurt.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ruth Hayden; his children, Karen Crim (Gary), Marcia Young (William), Steven Orpurt (Laura), Phyllis Peter (Timothy) and Barbara Dayton (Paul); his grandchildren, Marjorie Young Kennedy (Adam), Matthew Young (Courtney), Peter Crim, Benjamin Crim, David Peter (Magen), Bonnie Orpurt, Aaron Peter (Emily Tosoni), Jeffrey Dayton (Pooja), Julia Dayton, Rachel Guzman (Nick), Scott Dayton and Caleb Peter; and his great grandchildren, Ivy Young, Kingston Kennedy, Noah Young, Vada Peter, Eden Peter, Blaise Kennedy, Lily Young, Isla Peter and Naomi Guzman.
