He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Burkett and Ruth Burkett (Halladay); and his stepfather Harry Billman. He is survived by: his wife Carol J. Burkett; his sons, Jim Burkett (Mary Jo), John Burkett and Kent Burkett (Barb); and his grandchildren, Erin Diedrich (Michael), John Burkett (Jessica), Lindsay Bores (Brad), Christopher Burkett (Alicia), Micah Burkett (Jenna), Mandi Osugi (Sean) and Jesse Burkett. He is also survived by 22 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home (600 Countryside Dr, Columbia City, IN 46725). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be given in memory of Paul to Columbia City Church of the Brethren Building Fund.
