He is survived by: his wife Deann Warren; his son Jacob Shepherd (Shay); his siblings, Dewey Shepherd Jr., Jake Shepherd (Virgie), Herbert "Herb" Shepherd (Tammy), Steve Howard (Emily), Debbie Swindle (Floyd), Katie Shepherd, Sadie Shepherd, Evelene Harding (Bobby), Peggy Myers, Brenda Layne and Georgia; and his granddaughter Adalind Elaine Shepherd.
