He was predeceased by: his parents, John Helton and Myrtle Helton (Hale); and his siblings, John, Fred, Ellis, Carl, James Helton, Elsie Dotson, Emma Slone, Irene Phillips and Thelma Hicks.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Helton; his sons, Chris Helton (Bobbie), Hobart, John Helton (Missy) and Silver Lake; his grandchildren, Valerie and Gavyn; and his siblings-in-law, Lourena Helton and Daryl Phillips.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the McKee Mortuary (1401 W State Rd 114, North Manchester, IN 46962). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
