She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer W. Steele and Elsie L. Steele (Martin); her husband Lawrence L. Bonewitz; her son Michael Bonewitz; her children-in-law, Dean Damron and Rachel Bonewitz; and her siblings, Robert, Raymond Steele, Dorothy Gray, Marriet Sanders and Ruby Mae Steele.
She is survived by: her children, Ron Bonewitz (Pattie), Randall Bonewitz (Todd Delinger), Nancy Bonewitz, Paula Damron and Linda Strombeck (Dan); and her brothers, Joe Steele (Ellouise), Bill Steele (Becky) and Richard Steele (Diane).
