He was predeceased by: his father James L. Borton; and his siblings, Iona Cole, Howard "Porky", James, Keith, Lynn, Merle and Carl Borton.
He is survived by: his children, Jason Fisher of North Liberty, TJ Borton (Pamela) of North Liberty, Kyle Borton (Crissy) of North Liberty and Whitney Ness (Nathaniel) of North Liberty; his grandchildren, Paige, Alexandra, Emma, Layne, Daxton, Ila, Lydia and Nathan; and his siblings, Zella Luallen of Galesburg, IL, Dale Borton (Lorraine) of Walkerton and Glen Borton (Pamela) of South Bend.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Terry Borton may be donated to the St. Joseph County 4-H Scholarship Fund, 5117 S. Ironwood Road, South Bend, IN 46614, or to the Center for Hospice Care, 501 Comfort Place, Mishawaka, IN 46545.
