He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter S. Thomson and Dorothy D. Thomson (Hartsell); and his siblings, Dorothy Howell, Mary Holcomb and John Thomson.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Thomson (Holcomb); his daughters, Laura Early (Charles) of North Liberty and Stormy McEndarfer (Jim) of Knox, Indiana.; his grandchildren, April Thomson, Alisa Tuckey (Kevin), Amber Onderdonk (Ricky), Chad Jones (Carey) and Corey Earley (Robin); his son Kyle Tuckey (Sydney); his great grandchildren, Katrina Shaw (Tanner), Jayson Tuckey, Brandon Onderdonk, Skie Onderdonk, Brianna Bennett, Dakota Jones, Devon Jones, Gage Jones and Eli Jones; his great great grandchildren, Kolton, Keeton and Knox Tuckey; and his sisters, Betty Frances and Roberta Popovits.
