He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Kochanowski and Helen Kochanowski (Pedro); and his brother John Kochanowski. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Bauters of South Bend; his granddaughter Morgan; and his siblings, Veronica Vargo (George) of Granger and Donald Kochanowski of South Bend.

Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Patrick's Church.
