With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James E. Salyer of North Liberty, Indiana, born in Salyersville, Kentucky, who passed away on July 29, 2022 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James E. Salyer to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his father John Salyer; his daughter Rebecca Salyer; his sisters, Irene, Geneva, Mamie, Cauline, Grace and Lucy; and also, Grant and John.
He is survived by: his children, Wade Salyer (Bonnie) of Plymouth, Christine Houston (Jeffrey) of Plymouth, Sarah Sarber (Jeffrey) of Plymouth, Sherri Menefee of North Liberty, Linda Lewis (Jeffrey) of North Liberty, Amy Bonine (Kevin) of Culver, Melanie Salyer of North Liberty and Mindy Salyer (Alex Batiz) of Chicago. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; and 31 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of James E. Salyer may be donated to St. Paul's Lutheran Church and School, 605 S. Center Street, Bremen, Indiana 46506.
