She was predeceased by: her parents, Faith Snodgrass and David Platz; her stepfather James Snodgrass; her siblings, Mary Ann Wilson, Patricia Mitchell, Robert "Bob" Platz and Larry Platz; her son-in-law Don Stephens; and her grandson William "Billy" A. Packer.
She is survived by: her friends, Eilene Snyder and Hazel Witrowski; her cousin Marylee Olson; her husband Eugene Runyan (Rube); her children, Sandra L. Packer of Walkerton, Sharon Stephens of Walkerton, Jackie Klingerman (Curt) of Walkerton, Vickie Hill of Walkerton, Debi Aldrich (Ed), Beth Smith (Rock) of North Liberty, Terrie Gorski (Ted) of Hannah and Steve Runyan (Leann) of Ft Wayne; her siblings, Joyce Eaglebarger (Chuck), Ruth Ryall (Marvin) of Osceola, David Platz (Helga) of Mishawaka and John Platz of Florida; her sister-in-law Barb Severson (LeRoy) of Niles, Mi; and her cousin Sis Vires. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
