We bid farewell to Dorothy L. Gensinger (North Liberty, Indiana), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 9, 2025 at the age of 95. Dorothy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius VanDeWalle and Madeline VanDeWalle (VanDeKeere); her grandson Michael Gensinger; her great grandchild Zayde Gensinger; and her sister Mary Hammas.
She is survived by: her sons, David Gensinger (Judy) of Walkerton, Gregory Gensinger (Kathy) of North Liberty, Chris Gensinger (Janet) of Scottsdale, AZ and Jeffrey Gensinger (Lisa) of North Liberty; her grandchildren, Alicia Whitmer (Steve), Jennifer Hollopeter (Ryan), Julie Slater (Rusty), Bryan Gensinger (Brenna), Beth Becker (John), Dan Gensinger (Laurel), Ryan Gensinger (Ashley), Jason Gensinger and Kyle Gensinger; and her sister Lorraine Gray of South Bend.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Pine Creek Church (25075 Stanton Rd, North Liberty, IN 46554). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at the Fair Cemetery Nw Corner of Oak.
