He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Lee and Elsie Crabbe; and his siblings, Mildred, Etta (Lucille), Robert and Elsie (Evelyn).
He is survived by: his children, Debra Denney (Pat) of North Liberty, IN, Beth Jasinski (Rick) of Milton, FL. and Daniel Nickels of Bremen, IN.; his grandchildren, Angela Shidaker (Jason), Anne Metteer, Jessica Dennis (Mitch), Ethan Wolfe (Felicia) and Kali Denney of South Bend, IN; his great grandchildren, Preston, Eliana, Aidan, Easton, Colin, Caitlin, Emalyn, Logan, Archer and Maren; and his wife Wanda Ruth Balsley.
