She was predeceased by: her parents, Eddie Lynch and Matilda Lynch (Doughty); her former husbands, Ted Abbey and Richard Carter; her husband Jesse Coldiron; her son Gerald Richard Carter; her grandchildren, Westley Carter, Aaron Abbey, Todd Justin Cook, Kevin Champlin and Donnie Minix; and her great grandchild Brittney Champlin.
She is survived by: her children, Shawn Carter (Kristen) of Logansport, Randy Abbey of Knox, Eddie Abbey (Leila) of Wilmington, LaDonna Bradley of North Judson and Denesa Cook of Plymouth. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren 63 great- grandchildren 6 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 8th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Braman and Bailey Funeral Home (6020 S Oakwood Ave, North Judson, IN 46366). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
