He is survived by: his children, Natashia Shaffer of Knox, Hunter Shaffer of Tennessee, Nayana Shaffer of North Judson and Felicia Shaffer of North Judson; his sister Wendi Shaffer-Hurni of Westville; his grandson Landon Klein of Knox; and his stepfather Douglas Miller of Portage. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
