It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nila Minix Wilcox (North Judson, Indiana), who passed away on October 23, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dessie Heckaman-Miller and Harvey Miller; her former husband Roy Cheek; her spouse J. C. Minix; her children, Gena Marie Wilcox and David Wilcox; and her siblings, Mary Ellen Mechling, Bud Miller and Jim Miller.
She is survived by: her sons, Warren Giese (Dianne) and Richard Wilcox (Ann); and her grandchildren, Dana Hanley, Chris Giese and Karmen Wilcox. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
