He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Medesi and Anna Medesi (Kuhajda); and his siblings, Mildred Bailey, Anna Boilini, John Lukac, Paul Lukac and Steve Lukac.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Medesi (Burianek); his sons, Daniel, Sr. (Kathleen) and Gary; and his grandchildren, Amie Clemons (Jesiah), Allison Wright (Wesley), Daniel Medesi, Jr. (Katie) and Austin Medesi. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
