He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Fredrick Leonard Koch and Mary Edith Gnuschke; his children, Ray Joseph, James Alan and Valerie Denham (Koch); his stepson Norman Tanaka of Hawaii; his siblings, Dorothy Trusty of Winamac, Don Koch (Gloria), June White, Betty White (Barnes) of North Judson and Numerous; his former wives, Carole Short and Christel Jaehn; his granddaughter Michelle; and his brothers, Leonard Koch, Paul Koch, Oscar Koch and Both. He was also cherished by 18 Grandchildren, 48 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great grandchildren, Numerous Nieces and Nephews.
