She was predeceased by: her parents, Ewald Matzat and Flora Matzat (Kothe) of North Judson, Indiana.; and her siblings, Nancy Woolery and Paul Matzat. She is survived by: her friend Olympian; her siblings, Eugene Matzat (Linda) and Annette Matzat-Zeller; and her siblings-in-law, Wayne Woolery and Barb Matzat. She is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews and 28 grand nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Peter Lutheran Church, North Judson, Indiana.
