He was predeceased by: his parents, Earn Minix and Myrtle Risner (Montgomery); his wife Ora Lee; and his siblings, Opal Mann, Glenna Fay Maupin, Dixie Whittaker, Phyllis Gross, Hattie Campbell, Ocie Rowe and Carson Rowe.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Patrick (Rick) of Grovertown and Scott Minix of North Judson; his grandson Jacob Taulbee of Lakeville; and his brother Hillard Minix (Judy) of North Judson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to be used according to the wishes of the family.
