Amanda J. Ing Obituary
Amanda Jean Ing, age 40, of North Judson passed away Monday, April 24, 2023, after surviving cancer and battling Neurofibromatosis Type 2. She was born on August 9, 1982, in Hobart, Indiana to John Smith and Sheila Billheimer. She loved singing Karaoke and enjoyed fashion and makeup. Amanda loved the Christmas season and put her tree up every year right after Halloween. Above all, she was a loving mother, and her three kids were always her priority. She volunteered her time at their schools and dedicated her life to caring for them. She will always be remembered for her supportive nature.
She is survived by her sons, Christian Smith, Brendon Hawkins, daughter, Kyla Ing, father, John Smith, mother, Sheila Billheimer, brothers, John (Monica) Smith, Johnny Smith, Chris (Veronica) Smith, sisters, Missy McQueary, Audrey Smith, and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins she felt were like her siblings.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jerry and Mary Ann Kirk, and grandmother, Mary Bell Austin.
A Celebration of Amanda's life will take place at a later date. Cremation was entrusted to Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart.
