She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Alvey and Dorothy Alvey Pekinpaugh (Shadwick); her daughter Jill James; and her stepfather Shirley "Pek" Pekinpaugh. She is survived by: her pets, Baxter, Conner and Wilfred; her husband Norman James; her son Brandon James; her grandson Camden James; and her siblings, Jolane Biever (Bill) and Jim Alvey.
Memorial contributions may be made to a scholarship fund for her grandson, Camden.
