Emma Jean (Smith) Hanner Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emma Jean (Smith) Hanner of Norman, Indiana, who passed away on July 24, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Smith and Orpha Pauline Stone Smith; her husband Stephen Ellis Hanner; her granddaughter Lauren Hanner; her brother Clyde Smith; and her siblings-in-law, Maynard Steinberger, Kenneth Hanner, Phillip Hanner, Everett Hanner, Dennis Hanner, Loy Hanner and Mary Hanner.

She is survived by: her children, Gregory Allen Hanner (Cheryl) of Norman and Stephanie Ann Brock (Clint) of Brownstown; her grandchildren, Clinton Hanner (Erin), Cole Brock (Addison) and Carley Brock (Tucker O'Neill); her great grandchild Madelynn Hanner; her siblings, Carl Smith, Mary Ann Steinberger and Glenda Faye Cooper; and her siblings-in-law, Mona Smith, Barbara Hanner, Esther Hanner, Rita Hanner, Marilyn and Jim Wilson.

Memorials may be given to Don and Dana Myers Cancer Center.
