He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Roy and Anna Mary Henderson Baker; his friend Larry Goforth; his nephews, Thomas Scott Green and Johnny Wade Baker, Jr.; and his father-in-law Earl Brewer.

He is survived by: his children, Phillip Earl Baker of West Glacier, Montana and Amy Jo Mails (Chuck) of Norman; his siblings, Johnny Wade Baker (Marie) of Leesville and Judy Green Hanner (Morris) of Kurtz; his grandchildren, Hunter Lee Baker (Marta) of Seymour and Karrigon Taylor Mails of Norman; his mother-in-law Bertha Jane Brewer of Brownstown; and his friend Judy Goforth. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to Kurtz Church of the Nazarene or Medora Goes Pink.
