He was predeceased by: his parents, Alberta Jansen (Burton) and Charles Richard Allen; and his sister Emily Walker. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Christy; his sons, Charles Christy (Jeanette), Franklin, Daniel Hunt, Joseph Hunt and Anthony Taylor of Norman; his grandchildren, Josalynn, Aubree, Danielle, Jayden, Jordan, Alyssa and Ayden; and his siblings, Ernest Jansen, Harry Jansen, Rex Allen, Steven Allen, Bernadine Skimehorn and Teresa Willoughby (Stan).
