She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Day and Rachel Caudill Day; her husband David Mikels; her daughter Dianna Root; and her siblings, Palmer Day, Glen Day, Roy Day, James Day and Sylvia Ziegler.
She is survived by: her children, Don Mikels (Becky) of Bedford, Randy Mikels (Rose) of Norman, Jodi Taylor of Norman and Jessica Sebastian (Bill) of Brownstown; and her sister Helen Ayres of Brown County. She is also survived by four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
