He is survived by: his wife Susan Hewett; his children, David Hewett (Karen Keniff), Elizabeth Hewett and Caroline Hewett (William Olabiyi); his grandchildren, Grant, Aidan Hewett, Grace and Will Olabiyi; and his sister Norma Hewett Johnson.
