He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Mercik and Ethel Mercik (Garner); and his siblings, Sharon Mercik and Duane Smith. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Mercik; his sons, David Mercik (Michelle) of Coral Springs, FL and Michael Mercik (Melissa) of Westfiled, IN; his grandchildren, Parker and Isabella; and his brother Frank Mercik. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family has entrusted Randall & Roberts Funeral Home with Ronald's care. in lieu of flowers the family request donations to "Tunnels to Towers Foundation" in Ron's memory.
