He was predeceased by: his father Ralph H. Sr. Underwood. He is survived by: his daughters, Susan C. Bowen (Jeff) of Muskegon, MI, Elizabeth A. Eagleson (William) of Westfield, IN and Martha J. Bowles (Todd) of Noblesville, IN; and his sister Joyce Apgar. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family requests gifts be made to Lord of Life Lutheran Church, Westfield Indiana.
