He is survived by: his children, Lesly Bauer (Kevin), Norman W. Kanwischer and Craig Kanwischer (Sarah); his grandchildren, Heather Bauer, Michael Bauer (Kara), Brandon Kanwischer, Emily Kanwischer, Julia Kanwischer, Kenneth Kanwischer and Benjamin Kanwischer; and his brother Wayland "Tiny" Kanwischer (Jean).
