She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Burgess and Martha Burgess (Sandefur); her husband Tipton Whitson; her sons, Clifford Whitson and Michael Whitson; and her siblings, Thomas Burgess and Mary Burgess Anthony.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Craig Whitson of Arcadia, Amanda Whitson of Noblesville, Jennifer Whitson of Noblesville, Luke Whitson of Carmel and Gabrielle Kimmerling of Anderson. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren; and many nieces & nephews.
