He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Edward Drake and Rita Housel (Farracane); and his stepfather Robert "Bud" Housel. He is survived by: his wife Marta Drake (Hysong) of Noblesville; his children, Tommy Drake (Heather), Cari Kelley (Mike) and Michelle Ashby (Jeff); his siblings, Jerry Housel (Mary Jane), Peggy Housel and Jeananne Schultz; his grandchildren, Ashleigh Anderson (Cory), Emily Stickler (Josh), Chloe Drake, Noah, Ava Schmersal, Nathan (Kelly) and Kelsey Ashby; and his great grandchildren, Bryson, Drake Anderson, Xavier Stickler, Walker, Warren, Winston and Vivian Ashby.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Stevens Mortuary (5520 W 10th St, Indianapolis, IN 46224). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 1:00 PM and at 2:00 PM at the same location.
