He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Gutknecht and Ruth Gutknecht; and his brother Ralph Gutknecht. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Gutknecht; his children, Gary Gutknecht (Michelle) of Noblesville, IN and Amy Dowden (Travis) of Blue Ash, OH; his grandchildren, Ashleigh, Emma Gutknecht, Abigail and Cole Dowden; his sister JoAnn Mears of Columbia, SC; and his sister-in-law Claudia Gutknecht of Sarasota, FL. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
